On August 1, 2026, two international music icons will take center stage at an extraordinary open-air event: NENA and Chris Norman will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the summer concerts in Bad Hofgastein with the biggest hits of the ’80s.

Two artistic personalities, two distinctive sounds, an evening filled with music history. NENA, an icon of German-language pop, is returning to Bad Hofgastein following her performance at the first Summer Open Air in 2016. Songs like “99 Luftballons,” “Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann,” and “Leuchtturm” continue to captivate generations of music fans to this day.

Chris Norman, one of the most iconic voices in international rock music, takes the stage. As the frontman of the legendary band Smokie, he made music history and enjoyed international success with hits such as “Living Next Door to Alice,” “Lay Back in the Arms of Someone,” and his solo global hit “Midnight Lady.” His distinctive voice and timeless songs continue to make him a fan favorite to this day.

The concert promises a musical journey down memory lane featuring the biggest hits of the 1980s and unforgettable melodies that continue to captivate audiences to this day. Singer-songwriter Sharron Levy will open the evening as the opening act, setting the mood for a special anniversary concert.
